Priority in innovation comes from the priority in know-how
As an upgrade to the high competencies of our employees that are further developed with the continuous training and specialization in international training cycles, one of the keys of our company's success is a continuous and well-structured training process that goes in three directions:

  1. technical training – systematic and progressive model of continuous training is strategic guideline of the company and pledge of continuous development of our employees' competencies. In this way we are up-to-date with all the technological innovations and changes.
  2. personal development (soft skills) - continuous presence in the West Europe requires from our employees, apart from technical competencies, outstanding level of personality and approach. Every employee in Comminus has their own mentor, assigned by a specialized company for human resources management. In the training plan, drawn up for each employee, focus of the training is responsibility, self-confidence, socialization, integrity, honesty, team work, conveying knowledge to others, orientation to clients, managing and negotiating skills and working with different cultural groups.
  3. foreign languages – also, closely related to company's orientation to the West European market, our employees improve their knowledge of foreign languages. Together with English as the main language of the IT industry and German as the language of most of our international clients, Comminus will, in line with the planned expansion of the company to other parts of Europe, will expand training to other foreign languages as well.
Apart from the oriented training, the company continuously enhances team spirit by intertwining open-mindedness and proactive approach as well as with getting together informally in the form of team-building every three months.

In that way, combination of the stated formal and informal trainings gives the employees, as company's key resource, an open-minded environment for stretching their own potentials through a continuous personal and professional development. System of managing careers and employees' development is done through collaboration with the company specialized in for Human Resources Management, through which professional plans for each employee are drawn by adjusting personal and professional interests of both employees and company. In that way our employees' development meets dynamics and high standards, contributing to attaining company's goals.

With a logical step forward, our employees have attended all the eminent conferences in Croatia, Europe and North America, mostly as main or specialized lecturers and have given numerous lectures from the field of their own expertise.
